About Bruges

Brugge (Bruges) in Belgium is an absolute must-see on your European travels. The medieval city Brugge is so well preserved that the entire historic centre has been recognised by UNESCO as a world heritage site.

This town in Belgium is often called "Venice of the north", because of the many canals running through it. Bruges lies in the north of Flanders.

Because of its well-preserved medieval architecture, it is now one of the most exciting tourist attractions in Europe. Things to see over here are the musea, churches and the canals. Things to buy include lace and the famous Belgian chocolates.
